General Questions

Senevisa is the official electronic visa application platform for Senegal, implemented by the Ministry of Communication, Telecommunications and Digital. It allows foreign nationals to apply for a visa online in a simple and secure manner, track its processing in real-time and download their eVisa once approved.
All nationals of countries not exempt from visa requirements can apply for an eVisa. Check the complete list of eligible countries on our site. Some nationalities benefit from visa exemption or can obtain a visa on arrival.
The validity of the eVisa depends on the type requested:
  • Tourist visa: 30 or 90 days depending on your choice
  • Business visa: 90 days (single or multiple entries)
  • Transit visa: Maximum 5 days
From the arrival date in Senegal indicated in your application.

Visa Application

The standard processing time is 72 hours (3 business days) from complete submission of your application with all required documents. An express service (24h) is available for an additional fee of 15,000 XOF.
Once your application is submitted and payment is made, you cannot modify it directly. If you notice a significant error, immediately contact our support service at support@senevisa.sn indicating your application number. Depending on the nature of the error and processing status, we may be able to make a modification.
In case of denial, you will receive an email notification with the detailed reasons for denial. You may submit a new application by correcting the issues raised and providing missing documents.

⚠️ Warning: Processing fees are non-refundable in case of denial, as they cover the administrative review of your application.

Payment

We accept payments by:
  • International credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
  • Mobile Money (Orange Money, Free Money, Wave, Wizall)
  • Bank transfer (longer processing time)
All payments are secured through our PCI-DSS certified partner.
Yes, absolutely. All payments are secured by our payment partner certified PCI-DSS Level 1 (the highest security level). We never have access to your complete banking information. Data is encrypted with 256-bit SSL during transmission.

Required Documents

Mandatory documents for all visa types:
  • Valid passport (minimum 6 months after planned return date)
  • Recent ID photo compliant with ICAO standards (light background, no glasses)
  • Proof of travel (round-trip airline ticket or confirmed reservation)
  • Proof of accommodation (hotel reservation, invitation letter, etc.)
  • Proof of financial means (bank statement for last 3 months, employer certificate)
Additional documents may be required depending on the purpose of travel.
Technical specifications:
  • Accepted formats: PDF, JPG, JPEG, PNG (recommended: PDF for documents, JPG for photos)
  • Maximum size: 5 MB per file
  • Minimum resolution: 300 DPI for ID photos
  • Required quality: Readable documents, not blurry, no glare
  • Color: Color recommended (no black and white photocopies)
